NEWS New AMADA 3.5 kW CO2 Laser: White Mule Company completed the installation of a new state of the art AMADA 3.5 kW CO2 Laser in January of 2017. White Mule's new CO2 Laser is equipped with flying optics and provides 2 axis cutting with a 60" by 120" work envelope. 3,500 watts of cutting power can quickly power through carbon steel up to 3/4" thick as well as aluminum and stainless up to 3/8" thick. It is also ideally suited for CRS, HRS, and galvanized steels. From heavy steel plate to the thinnest sheet metal, this system is engineered for speed and precision. This system gives White Mule Company the capability of laser cutting long run and shorth run industrial products. The flexibility of White Mule Company's new CO2 Laser ensures that we can meet your industrial cutting needs. New Paint Booth w/ Overhead Conveyor: White Mule Company completed the installation of a new state of the art painting facility on December 19th, 2015. The 16 ft x 30ft paint booth matched with an overhead conveyor and HVLP paint spraying system will meet your industrial painting needs. The combination of the 16ft x 30 ft paint booth with an 120 hook overhead conveyor system gives White Mule Company the capability of efficiently spray finishing a large variety of industrial products. The 16ft x 30ft paint booth gives White Mule Company the capability to spray finish large industrial products up to 30ft in length. The 120 hook overhead conveyor system gives White Mule Company the capability of spray finishing a large volume of small to medium industrial products. The flexibility of White Mule Company's new painting facility ensures that we can meet your industrial painting needs. Installed a 3D Printer for Plastic Prototyping: In August of 2015 White Mule Company incorporated a 3D printer into our design arsenal for 3D plastic model prototyping. The 3D print technology will allow White Mule Company to produce physical 3D plastic model prototypes for our clients review. The 3D print technology will also minimize prototyping costs and increase design efficiency by streamlining the design, review, and redesign process. Moved to Larger Facility in Ontario, OH: In February of 2014 White Mule Company moved from its Marion, OH location to a larger 24,000 square foot industrial building in Ontario, OH. The larger building will allow White Mule Company to expand equipment processes and increase overall capabilities. SUCCESS STORIES Offset Round Axle Adapter: White Mule Company has been manufacturing industrial products since 1925. White Mule Company is the leading manufacturer of saddles for piggyback style semi truck decking and hauling. Over the years semi truck designs change. White Mule Company must design saddle adapters to fit various new truck designs. The Offset Round Axle Adapter is one such design. A major truck manufacturer came out with a new front axle design for some of their four wheel drive trucks. Instead of the traditional I-beam style front axle, the new design had a round front axle with an offset front differential. White Mule Company's saddles were designed to fit the traditional I-beam style front axles. White Mule Company needed to design an axle adapter that would allow the use of the traditional White Mule Company Saddles with the new axle design. Using 3D CAD software White Mule Company designed an axle adapter to fit the profiles of the new axle design. The CAD software increased design efficiency by streamlining the design, review, and redesign process. A prototype was manufactured using the CAD drawing specs and was taken to the client for review and fitment analysis. The 1st design iteration of the Offset Round Axle Adapter met the client's needs. The CAD software allowed White Mule Company to design an adapter for the new truck axle in one design iteration minimizing design costs and expediting turnaround for the client.
